Science and Research Facility - Third Year​​
This project was done as a start up proposal for a new NDSU building. As a class we researched the needs of the this new facility and started brainstorming ideas to enhance its performance. We worked together heavily, even trading projects at three different times alone the way. The results were very exciting and a lot of work was put into these new proposals. It was an excellent experience in working as a team to solve issues and work within each others design skill sets.
High Rise - Forth Year​​
After visiting San Francisco in September, we were to pick a site with a partner and design a highrise for the SoM area in downtown SF. We had to do a vast amount of research to ensure that our designs catered to the needs of the site and the city as a whole. This project was a semester long process that really put all of our skills to the test.
Dwelling - Second Year​​
We had to develop a small scale residential unit that would fit in a carbon neutral community. The total scale footage was not to exceed 500 sq ft. Each of us were given a client which we then had to make a narrative about to add to the depth of our design choices. We had to work together as a "community" to solve issues dealing with sustainability and overall mechanics of our designs.
